Welcome to the ORCA Website!
The Summerland ORCA Swim Club is a competitive swim club founded in 1990 and is affiliated with SWIMMING/NATATION CANADA (SNC). The club operates as a non-profit sports body to promote aquatics in the community of Summerland, British Columbia. It is governed by a constitution, which is available through the board of Directors. The goal of the club is to encourage each athlete to be the best that they can be by participating in the sport of competitve speed swimming.

Our next Sprint Triathlon meeting will be held on Friday, February 24, 2012, 5:30 PM at the aquatic center meeting room. Members are encouraged to attend to find out what's going on and how you can help.

Sunday, February 26th we'll be having a MAJOR team fundraiser -The Swim-a-thon SWIM Party!---
Swim-a-thon forms to go home with the swimmers during the week of Feb 6-10, 2012
We're going to have music, prizes, pizza & treats and more!
All your swimmers have to do is SWIM and see how much money they can raise with all their LAPS!
Please mark down Sunday Feb. 26th in your calendar- it's only a month away.
TIME: 3:30pm TEAM PHOTO- wearing your ORCA gear!
4:00pm - 4:30pm Development 1 & 2 swim their laps (while the other groups help count)
4:30pm - 6:30pm Development 3, Bronze, Silver, Senior Fitness & Gold will swim their laps
Pizza, refreshment, prizes and social to follow in the lobby!
We will be handing out our Swim-a-thon envelopes for fundraising in the next week or so with more information. There will be prizes for the most funds raised as well as other door prizes.
*If you know you will be away Feb. 26, please let me know to arrange your Swim-a-thon the week before during practice times.
